The U-shaped belt cleaner effectively removes carryback and maintains performance to protect the belt and its splices. Carryback adheres to the belt, which causes serious material accumulation and residue build-up return rollers. Therefore, belt mistracking or belt-edge damage results in unscheduled downtime. The tungsten carbide vulcanized into rubber mount absorbs impact energy and minimizes transmission back to the belt. Also, the UC belt cleaner thoroughly scrapes conveyor belts clean and eliminates problems with carryback and spillage.
